The Omega Community Development Corporation serves scholars grades K-8 through Children’s Defense Fund Freedom School Summer Enrichment Program at the Dayton Boys Preparatory Academy and Fairview Prk-6 School.

Our Community Impact in 2018

In 2018, our Freedom School Program served 93 scholars grades K-8. Throughout the summer we maintained an attendance rate of 90% which contributed to significant growth amongst our scholars. Pre-and post-tests were conducted to measure the impact of the program. By the end of the program, 85% of the scholars improved in at least one category. The test categories were Phoneme Segmenting, Word Reading Fluency, and Passage Reading Fluency.
